Donghua University, referred to as Donghua, is located in Shanghai, China. It is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education and the national "2 1 1 project". It is a national "double first-class" world-class discipline construction university. It is a member of the high-quality resource sharing alliance of high-level industry-specific universities, the first batch of quality certification colleges for studying abroad in China, and the first batch of typical experience colleges for deepening the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education in China. It is one of the 40 key universities in the "Aid Xinjiang Construction Plan" of the Ministry of Education.
The school was founded in 195 1 and named East China Textile Institute of Technology, which is the first textile institution of higher learning in New China. 1960 was identified as a national key university by the Ministry of Education, and it was one of the first universities in China with the right to award doctoral, master's and bachelor's degrees. 1985, the school was renamed as China Textile University. /kloc-0 entered the national "21/project" in 1995, and/kloc-0 was renamed Donghua University in 1999.
As of May 20 18, the school has Songjiang Campus, Yan 'an Road Campus and Xinhua Road Campus, covering an area of nearly 2,000 mu. There are 17 colleges (departments), 6 postdoctoral mobile stations, 10 first-class doctoral programs, 1 professional doctoral programs, 29 first-class master programs,1/professional master programs, 16 majors.
