When do German universities have winter holidays?
Twice a year: winter vacation and summer vacation.

The winter vacation usually begins in mid-February, the spring semester begins in March 15, and classes begin about a week later.

The summer vacation is usually in late July, and the winter semester begins on October 5th, 65438/kloc-0, and ends on June 5th, 65438.

Besides the winter and summer vacations, there are two longer holidays:

Holidays for Christmas and New Year: from 65438+February to 17 or 18, the holidays last for more than 2 weeks until classes begin on March 3 or 4 of the following year.

Easter holiday lasts from the end of March to the beginning of April, 1 week.
