Wuhan University of Arts and Sciences, referred to as "Wuhan Arts and Sciences" for short, is a full-time undergraduate institution of higher learning approved by the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Education. The college was formerly an independent college, Jianghan University College of Arts and Sciences, which was founded in September 2002.

On April 9, 2020, the Ministry of Education approved Jianghan University's College of Arts and Sciences to be transformed into an independent undergraduate college, Wuhan College of Arts and Sciences, headed by Hubei Provincial Department of Education. The school is located at Shenghai Avenue 1 Wuhu Street, huangpi district, Hubei Province, Wuhan Changjiang New Town.

The School of Economics was established in 20 13, and now has three undergraduate majors: Finance, International Economy and Trade, Internet Finance and "Experimental Class for Top Innovative Talents in Finance".
