Kanazawa University, founded in 1862, is a research-oriented comprehensive national university in Japan. The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan is one of the traction members of the Super Global University Program. As one of the "Old Six Medical Universities" in Japan, it represents the highest level of medical education in Japan.
Teaching features:
1. The basic unit of admission is "academic field", which is broader than "departments and disciplines"
2. Learn the basics first, and then decide the "post-selection system" in the professional field.
In the fields of humanities, social sciences and science and engineering, mainly in the second year, everyone decides the professional field (course) according to their own wishes and adaptability.
In the field of medicine and health care, choose pharmacy or pharmacy after 3 years.
:: In the fields of medicine and health care, the "selective system" has not been adopted due to qualification problems.
3. "Professional and Sub-professional System"
In addition to "major", everyone actively chooses "minor" that they are interested in to expand the scope of study.
