1. Kundulun District is a municipal district under the jurisdiction of Baotou City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Established on 1956. It is located in the hinterland of Hubao Yuyin Economic Zone and Hubaodong Golden Triangle, at the foot of Yinshan Mountain, on the north bank of the Yellow River and by the Kundulun River. Kundulun District is named after the river (Kundulun Mongolian means "horizontal"), which is the economy, culture, science and education of Baotou City.
2. Qingshan District, a municipal district under the jurisdiction of Baotou City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is named because it is located at the southern foot of the rolling Daqing Mountain. Located in the middle of Baotou City, it borders Kundulun District in the west, Shiguai District in the east and Jiuyuan District in the south.
Donghe District is the jurisdiction of Baotou City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, belonging to the old city of Baotou City. It is named after the East River (called Botuo River in ancient times) that flows through here. It is located at the junction of Tumote Plain and Hetao Plain.
5. Shiguai District is the municipal district of Baotou City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Shiguai is a transliteration of the Mongolian word "Xiguitu", which means "a place with forests".
