Teachers College of Shenzhen University was established on September 1994 with the approval of Guangdong Province and Shenzhen City. The college is affiliated to Shenzhen University, with one office and three offices, namely, office, academic affairs office, student affairs office and general affairs office.
On July 29, 2002, according to the spirit of socialization of university logistics and the needs of the development of university teachers' education, the Academic Affairs Office was abolished and the Comprehensive Education Office was established. After 23 years of development, it is now positioned as a high-level modern comprehensive college based on normal education, rooted in Shenzhen and serving Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Teachers College is located in the campus of Shenzhen University, with independent teaching building, laboratory building, office building and international lecture hall for more than 400 people, with a building area of 28700M2.
The existing fixed assets are 43.975 million yuan, including 29.53 million yuan of teaching equipment and facilities. In addition, the college enjoys the advantages of Shenzhen University in discipline construction, books and materials, equipment and logistics facilities. At the beginning of the college, there were only four majors and four undergraduate majors, with 330 junior college students and 0/34 undergraduate students.
Teachers College has 1 affiliated middle schools (about 2000 students) and 3 affiliated kindergartens (about 800 children). In addition, there are three research institutes: the Institute of Educational Sciences, the Institute of Higher Education and the Institute of Calligraphy.
Teachers' College is affiliated with four centers: Research Center for Basic Education and Teacher Development, Research and Consultation Center for Applied Psychology, Training and Testing Center for Putonghua, and Indian Cultural Research Center.
