Fourth, Southwest University of Political Science and Law&; Law), located in Chongqing, is one of the earliest institutions of higher learning of politics and law established in New China. It was founded by the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, and was one of the first national key universities.
