1: unforgettable things for college students. After three years of hard work in high school, I overcame the "obstacle" of the college entrance examination. I came to Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications and have been a glorious college student ever since. In my personal understanding, the biggest difference between college life and high school life is that there are different clubs in the university. Rich and colorful club life can't be given by high school life, so what impressed me most in college is the interview with the club.
I still remember that not long after the military training began, banners and posters were hung on both sides of the school road, and tents of various organizations were set up in front of the South Second Square. All organizations try their best to show their uniqueness in order to attract more new students. Facing all kinds of community recruitment, people have a dazzling feeling. As soon as I got back to the dormitory, I saw my roommates discussing various clubs in groups of three or five. What's more, I went directly to some familiar seniors for advice. And every night, seniors and seniors will come to our dormitory to sweep the floor and publicize their clubs and show their elegance. Finally, either impressed by the personal charm of a senior or attracted by the uniqueness of the community, everyone has his own decision. As for me, I chose the Volunteer Department of Caizhi Youth Volunteers Association in the college.
In the first interview, I just introduced myself in front of several seniors and answered a few simple questions. These are just a piece of cake for me, so I easily answered the answer I thought was satisfactory. A few days later, I received a notice to enter the second interview. I am very excited, and I have a little expectation. I expect to live a club life soon.
The second interview came. That night, as soon as I returned to the dormitory, I immediately changed into a military training suit and came to the interview site early. Looking at the classroom which is slightly crowded because of the large number of people, I am a little nervous. I have never tried to introduce myself in front of so many people on the stage, and my heart is a little weak. I took a few deep breaths and calmed down a little. I felt a little depressed when listening to others' self-introduction. Time passed quietly, and finally it was my turn. With small steps, I came to the stage and looked at the darkness below. My head suddenly went blank and I didn't know what to say. I took another deep breath and tried to look directly at the people in the audience. My voice trembled, and I started my first self-introduction in full view, which was also the most unforgettable one. After a few simple self-introductions, it's time to answer the questions of seniors. Some questions are simple, while others feel a little difficult. I answered a few questions and finally survived this long time. Sitting back in my seat, I was still a little nervous, mixed with great regret and a little excitement. I spent the rest of the interview regretting my poor performance.
Now, I got my wish, entered the volunteer department and lived my club life. Looking back on the night of the interview, although my head was blank when I stood on the stage, I still couldn't get rid of that nervous mood. Maybe it's because I'm too concerned and nervous, but I have to admit that it was the most unforgettable thing in my university!
Chapter 2: An unforgettable thing for college students With a sense of curiosity about new things and new life, I walked into Yanbian University of Science and Technology with light steps. I feel very honored to be admitted to this school. Because I heard that this university is unique in China, and it was founded by Koreans, or rather, it was founded by our beloved Korean President with his own grand ideas.
When I first came to this school, I felt that the school spirit here was particularly good. For example, the seniors, professors and classmates here are so amiable compared with the people I have contacted before. I feel the warmth from my big family.
Looking back on my freshman life, I feel very fulfilled. I have participated in campus badminton competition, singing competition, autumn sports meeting, evergreen club, head teacher MT, class outing … and other beneficial activities, which have great exercise value and interest. Now these things are still vivid! But what impressed me most was the selfless care of the instructors.
Here's the thing. Because I majored in Japanese in high school, I suddenly felt very difficult to learn English after I went to college. Every afternoon, four classes are English classes. I have been under considerable pressure in the process of learning English, but the key point is that these pressures have not given me any motivation at all. On the contrary, I was squeezed out of an English class F by these pressures. I am at a loss, and my heart is full of fear and confusion. I was really confused at that time.
The whole person is as untenable as a scattered stall. Besides, I am a girl. It is said that no matter how you play, you won't get an F if you study hard a little, but I put my heart and soul into it and got an F. Knowing this situation, my tutor talked to me about my' ideal' topic. I said brazenly, "My ideal is to study in Canada." The professor smiled and said positively, "You know, Canada is in English! If you can't learn English well here, how can you survive there? " I am really wronged. I took out the notebook I had copied before and handed it to the professor and said, "Teacher, in fact, I work harder than anyone else. You see, this is a note I made in a semester. " A whole book. I even copied down everything the teacher said. But my grades just can't get on. After reading it, the professor sighed with emotion: "Your problem is not the effort itself, but the learning method." Said he told me the easy-to-understand method.
That is previewing, listening to lectures to understand the content rather than endorsing it, and then reviewing it. And told me it would take months to have a significant effect. I suddenly realized at that time that it was so simple! The professor told me that in fact, many times, you need to calm down and think about why you study harder than others, but you don't get a response. Think more about whether there are any other study plans for your reference. It only takes a little time to improve your grades a lot. This is called sharpening a knife and cutting wood by mistake. I learned this lesson. I preview, attend classes and review according to the method taught by my tutor every day, and my grades have really improved. Yes, the professor asked me to meet once every Friday. Of course, every time I meet the professor, I will increase my motivation to learn English. After all, I am a consultant to the professor, and I shouldn't let him down. I still remember every word of the professor. He said: "people should learn the ability to see far, not short-sighted and only see the present."
Only when you are condescending will you feel how insignificant the difficulties you face. Think of these difficulties as a leaf and bring them to your eyes, so you can't see Mount Tai. If you put it far away, that leaf is almost like an ant. In fact, any difficulty is temporary. Stick to it and it will pass in an instant. "hearing these kind words, my heart is full of fighting spirit at the beginning of school. In fact, isn't life a journey to overcome such ups and downs? Without these stumbling blocks, life would be tasteless and flavorless.
