As the first batch of pilot universities in Jiangxi Province to train applied technology-oriented undergraduate talents, the university and Jiangxi University of Science and Technology jointly started the pilot work of applied technology-oriented undergraduate majors, selected key majors as pilot majors, and combined with the characteristics of the two universities, jointly formulated a talent training plan to cultivate applied technology-oriented undergraduate talents. Enrollment began on 20 14, and continued on 20 15, 20 16 and 20 17. There are 365 students in three majors, 10 classes.
Facing the world, the school is open to the outside world, exploring new ways of international cooperation in running schools such as base construction, school-school cooperation and project cooperation. It has cooperated with the Hans Saidel Foundation of Germany to carry out rural land consolidation projects, and established the Ganzhou Training Base of the Sino-German Land Consolidation and Rural Development Training Center; Set up civil engineering specialty (construction engineering technology, Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools) with Canada North Institute of Applied Technology.
