Changsha Metro Line 4 [Line 4/Purple Line] is planned to run from Lianjiang Road in Wangcheng District in the northwest of the city to Songgongtang in Huangxing Town in the southeast of the city, with a total length of 56 kilometers. * * * There are 35 stations, of which 1 1 are subway line interchange stations and 3 are intercity railway interchange stations. The project also has two main substations (West Lake Park and Shawan Park) and a control center, which are shared by the first phase of Metro Line 2. With six B-cars, the maximum running speed of the train is 80 km/h. It is expected to be completed and put into trial operation in the middle of 20 19.
