According to official website of Jilin University, Jilin University, referred to as Jida for short, is located in Changchun City, Jilin Province, and is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). Scholarships are awarded once a year, and scholarships for freshmen are awarded within one to two months after the start of sophomore year. Scholarships for sophomores are awarded within one to two months after the start of junior year. Scholarships for junior students are awarded within one or two months after the start of senior year. Scholarships for senior students are awarded before graduation from university.
