Hebei University of Technology, located in Tianjin, was co-founded by Hebei Provincial People's Government, Tianjin Municipal People's Government, China People's Government and Ministry of Education, and belongs to Hebei Province. School 1996 ranks among the first batch of key construction universities in China under "2 1 1 Project". 20 14 was undertaken by Hebei Province, Tianjin City and Ministry of Education; 20 17 was selected as a "double first-class" construction university in China.

The school has 10 postdoctoral research stations,11 first-class doctoral degree authorization points, 26 first-class master degree authorization points, 17 professional degree categories and 28 professional master degree authorization fields. There are more than 23,000 full-time undergraduates and more than 7,500 graduate students.

Scientific research achievements:

During the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" period, the school hosted 2 national key projects1,more than 400 national natural science funds and more than 2,700 patents, and was approved as the first batch of national intellectual property pilot universities, ranking 70th among the national universities 100 patents.

The first "high beam" small satellite successfully made its first flight with the Long March 8 carrier rocket and was in orbit. High-performance robot tactile sensing intelligent system was selected into the list of leading technologies of "Kechuang China" in 2020.
