Sichuan University School of Electrical Engineering
Sichuan University is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education, a national "double-class" A-class university, and a high-level research-oriented comprehensive university focusing on "985 Project" and "21/project".

The School of Electrical Engineering of Sichuan University was established in 1998, which was formed by the merger of the former Department of Electrical Engineering, the Department of Automation and the Department of Applied Electronic Technology of Chengdu University of Science and Technology. The origin, development and reform of the College can be traced back to 1908. It is one of the first units to set up electrical engineering specialty in China, and it is also one of the oldest and largest engineering entity colleges in Sichuan University.

The college aims to "build a high-level research and teaching college with the spirit of running the best undergraduate course and focusing on the development of students and teachers, and cultivate national pillars and industry elites with lofty ideals and beliefs, profound cultural heritage, solid professional knowledge, strong sense of innovation and broad international vision".
