Yunnan University, referred to as Dayun for short, is a comprehensive university in People's Republic of China (PRC). The school is located in Wuhua District, Kunming City, Yunnan Province, adjacent to Cuihu Park and Chenggong Campus.
Yunnan University is a double-class university and one of the first universities in the original 2 1 1 project. It is a national key university of China people, a key university supported by the western part of the country and a key university built by ministries and agencies.
Yunnan University covers an area of 455 1.84 mu, including 535.84 mu in the headquarters and 40 16 mu in Chenggong campus. Full-time undergraduate students 13264, graduate students 12000.
