What about the weeds under the plastic film?
Weeds under the plastic film can be removed, and weeds growing in the plastic film often break the plastic film and affect the growth. Preventing and eliminating the growth of weeds in plastic film is a key step to improve yield and quality. The specific method for removing weeds in plastic film is as follows:

1, the use of chemicals. After sowing, after covering the soil, before covering with plastic film, it is difficult to remove after covering with plastic film. At present, the commonly used soil sealing treatment agents are pendimethalin, oxyfluorfen, acetochlor and metolachlor, which can be selected according to the grass phase in the field. It is required that the drug field is flat, fine and has good moisture content, so as to form a drug film on the soil surface. When spraying medicine, you should beat it upside down, and cover it with film when you beat it upside down. Don't step on the place where the pesticide has been sprayed, so as not to affect the film formation and reduce the weeding effect.

2. Wheat rotation. Wheat can be rotated once every 3-4 years in garlic fields where broadleaf grass grows every year. Using herbicides in wheat fields can kill most of the broad-leaved weeds in this season to reduce the harm in the future.

3. Intensive cultivation. Deep tillage can effectively inhibit the germination of weed seeds in shallow soil, which is beneficial to moisture conservation, warming, ventilation and garlic root development.

4. Improve the quality of plastic film mulching. The quality of plastic film mulching is directly related to the effect of increasing production. Generally, the quality of plastic film is good, and weeds grow less. Therefore, for plastic film mulching cultivation, we should plough the soil as soon as possible and apply organic fertilizer to cultivate base fertilizer. According to the width of plastic film, the soil preparation should be fine, so that the border is high (at least one foot deep), which is convenient for irrigation and drainage. When covering the plastic film, it should be taut and flat, so as to be close to the ground. If the quality of plastic film is not good, it will not only leak easily, but also have poor effects of heat preservation, water conservation and fertilizer conservation, and will also promote the growth of weeds.
