With the deepening of economic globalization and the gradual internationalization of professional employment standards, the country urgently needs a large number of international high-end accounting talents who are familiar with international rules and master the frontier knowledge and skills of global accounting. In the next 5- 10 years, China needs 500-10,000 international senior accounting talents.

In order to deepen the undergraduate teaching reform and keep up with the economic development and the needs of the times, Jianghan University has started to offer ACCA courses for accounting majors since 20 16, and has successfully enrolled four students. The students of the first ACCA class graduated this year, and four of the 25 students successfully took the postgraduate entrance examination and were admitted to Wuhan University respectively.

Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, Nanjing Agricultural University and Jianghan University were admitted, and five other students successfully applied to study in overseas famous schools such as University of California, Riverside, York University and City University of Hong Kong.

With the approval of the school, the ACCA-oriented class of 2020 accounting major was openly enrolled and selected among a group of 2020 freshmen admitted by business schools (business administration and finance), and no longer participated in the professional diversion of the college, but directly studied accounting.

The school will organize a selection test (free of charge) to select the best candidates. The admitted students' major in school is determined as Accounting (ACCA).

At present, the school's application for changing majors has been opened for registration. Welcome the first batch of students who have been admitted and scored 1 10 in the college entrance examination to apply for the ACCA direction class of accounting major!

(1) ACCA is an international professional accounting organization that entered Chinese mainland earlier, and has a development history of more than 30 years in China. Chinese mainland has become the region with the fastest growing number of ACCA applicants.

(2) ACCA has more than 180+ national cooperative universities, including Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Northeastern University, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Chongqing University, Lanzhou University and Jianghan University. ACCA direction classes have been set up or ACCA certificate courses have been incorporated into their own training system.
