Ren Wei, MD, professor of internal medicine, chief physician, tutor of master students. Member of the 5th and 6th National Youth Committee of China Diabetes Branch, member of the 3rd Evaluation Committee of China Medical Science and Technology Award, deputy director of Chongqing Diabetes Center, member and secretary of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th sessions of Chongqing Diabetes Committee, member of the 5th session of Chongqing Diabetes Committee, candidate of the 2nd academic and technical leader in Chongqing, and young and middle-aged backbone teachers in Chongqing universities. 1992 graduated from West China University of Medical Sciences. From 2005 to 2006, he was engaged in postdoctoral research on diabetes at the University of Kentucky. In 2005, he was selected as one of the "322 Key Talents Project" in Chongqing. He has successively completed more than 20 national, provincial and municipal scientific research projects, such as the National High-tech Research and Development Plan (863 Plan), the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Chongqing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, and published more than 11in domestic core journals, with five books as co-editors. He is the editorial board member of Chinese Journal of Diabetes, and is also a reviewer of Chinese Medical Journal, Chinese Journal of Diabetes, Chinese Journal of Clinical Medicine, Journal of Chongqing Medical University and Journal of Chongqing Medical University. Main research interests: the foundation and clinic of diabetes, and the foundation and clinic of pituitary diseases.
