What will happen to college students' personal files after graduation?
After graduation, college students' personal files mainly go to their original employment units, talent centers, schools and public service centers.

The whereabouts of archives after graduation mainly depends on the employment situation. Graduates who work in state-owned enterprises, central enterprises, institutions and other units with archival custody authority shall keep their archives in the employment units, while those of non-public units shall keep their archives in the talent center. Schools can temporarily keep files, which are suitable for graduates who have not been employed or choose to continue their studies. In addition, some schools may transfer files to the public service center where students come from for management.
