The School of Journalism and Communication of Hebei University now has five undergraduate majors, 1 Chinese and foreign cultural teaching and research departments, 5 research institutes, 1 book reference room and 1 media experiment center. At present, the college has a doctoral degree in journalism and communication, a master's degree in journalism and communication, two master's degrees in journalism and communication, and two master's degrees in journalism, communication and publishing.

After more than 20 years of construction and development, the School of Journalism and Communication of Hebei University has formed a teaching staff with strong overall strength and reasonable echelon structure. At present, there are more than 80 teaching and administrative staff, including 43 teachers with senior titles, 27 doctors and doctoral students, 6 doctoral supervisors and 22 master supervisors, with an average age of 42.7 years, forming a developing team of teachers with relatively reasonable professional title structure, educational background structure and age structure.
