Can I apply to study in Peking University after becoming an American citizen?
Hello, after joining a foreign nationality, you can't apply as a citizen of People's Republic of China (PRC), but you need to apply as a foreigner in Peking University. At present, there are three channels for foreigners to apply for studying in China universities (I only take Beijing 985 University as an example, and local universities may have different policies):

1, individual application;

2. Studying abroad through intercollegiate exchange agreements: Through the exchange programs between China universities and foreign universities that have signed intercollegiate agreements, according to the exchange agreements, the other universities will recommend ways for their students to study in China universities;

3. Apply for China government scholarship to study in China: Through the National Scholarship Committee of China, according to the educational exchange agreement between countries, the National Scholarship Committee recommends foreign students to study in China.

It should be noted that the admission of foreigners is not without selection, but also has the nature of different admission. For example, when there were many applicants, maybe two or three ways were full, so you can take the way of 1, and you need to pay your own tuition and take an exam.

Thank you for your answers, but I have just been naturalized. Is there no time limit for naturalization in Peking University?

Thank you all.

Admission does not involve the use of SSN social insurance, nor does it have anything to do with the length of naturalization.
