Today, I am honored to be entrusted by xx Student Union to make a work summary on behalf of all members of xx Student Union. The report reads as follows:

First, lay a solid foundation, improve rules and regulations, constantly improve the ideological understanding and theoretical level of student cadres, and earnestly strengthen the comprehensive quality training of student cadres.

In order to better manage the student union, after a long period of research by the chairman and combined with the actual situation of the student union, the articles of association of Jiamusi University have been redrafted, and various rules and regulations of the student union office have been strictly formulated, so that our management can be carried out in a healthy and orderly manner. In order to adapt to the requirements of the network information age, strengthen the external publicity of the student union in our college, and strengthen the exchanges and cooperation with other colleges and universities, under the specific guidance of the Youth League Committee of xx Student Union and the joint efforts of all the students in the Science and Technology Department of the Student Union, we have established an independent website of Jiamusi University Student Union. This move has brought the work of our student union to a new level. On this basis, we published the Student Newspaper of Jiamusi University, in which we can keep abreast of the school's policies and various learning information, providing students with an opportunity to show their literary talents. This newspaper not only bridges the communication between university students' union and students' union in colleges, but also narrows the distance between university students' union and students, and becomes an important channel for university students' union to publicize.

Thirdly, through the convening of the presidium meeting of the whole school, the overall consciousness of student organizations at all levels in our school has been obviously improved.

In the past, the student union of our school was seriously out of touch with the student union of various colleges, and there was a lack of communication between colleges, so the overall performance was slow. In order to reverse the fragmented situation and strengthen exchanges and cooperation, xx Students' Union started with the principal's office meeting of the whole school, strengthened contact and organized discussion meetings, which truly realized the working ideas of horizontal communication with the societies and vertical communication with the students' unions of various colleges, and finally ushered in a good job of learning from each other, communicating with each other and improving together. During the work of xx Student Union, Jiamusi University successfully carried out xx and xx series activities to commemorate the May 4th Campus Science, Technology, Culture and Art Festival and xx series activities to commemorate the December 29th Movement Campus Culture and Art Festival. From the aspects of literature and art, sports, science and technology, learning, etc., a series of activities such as chorus, aerobics, scientific and technological innovation contest, essay contest and English speech contest were carried out. In June, we went deep into Jiashi Children's Welfare Institute, and gave a condolence performance for the vulnerable groups that were widely concerned by the society, and dedicated the love of college students to the children. Last summer, our school successfully held the xx Universiade in Heilongjiang Province, which was a grand event independently undertaken by our school and reflected the comprehensive strength of Jiamusi University. This is both an opportunity and a challenge for Jiamusi University. Facts have eloquently proved that the rising Jiamusi University has significantly improved its comprehensive ability and can organize colorful activities. At the same time, xx students have gone through the evaluation stage, and we are fighting in the front line like the teachers in the school. Xx University Freshmen Debate Competition

As a language art, debate has a long history and its function is self-evident. Ancient Mozi once said: "A husband's debater must distinguish right from wrong, judge chaos for a hundred years, distinguish similarities and differences, and judge truth and falsehood." "It means that the role of the debate is to draw a clear line between right and wrong, explore the standards of chaos control in the world, judge the basis of similarities and differences, weigh the pros and cons, and solve people's ideological doubts. Debate can make people distinguish right from wrong, stick to the truth, exercise their thinking ability, increase their intelligence, enhance people's understanding and promote mutual communication. With the ultimate goal of enriching campus life, strengthening the construction of study style in our department, improving students' language expression ability and adaptability, and enhancing students' sense of honor, our department launched a debate competition for nearly one month.

In the planning stage of the competition, the careful planning and organization of the learning department played a great role. Second, the debate process.

The final of "xx Freshmen Debate Competition of School of Economics and Technology" came to an end in Economic Building on April 12. Fierce competition and wonderful confrontation brought the war to the extreme. The debaters on the stage fought bravely, and the audience under the stage was full of blood, which brought the debate to a successful conclusion.

Generally speaking, the debate has achieved good results, but there are also some minor problems in the organization process. Debate did not do a good job of pre-competition guidance, leading to the debater's lack of understanding of the game, the first round of round robin. If we can give correct guidance in the debate and comments, it will bring more positive influence to students. The rematch was held in a small classroom due to the limitation of the venue, which brought a lot of inconvenience to the enthusiastic audience. I hope these shortcomings can be made up in future activities.

By holding this debate competition, the relationship between the learning department and other departments of the student union has been further strengthened, and the coordination between departments has made this debate competition go smoothly. At the same time, this debate also accelerated the communication between departments and achieved the purpose of debating with friends and each other.

In order to enliven the campus atmosphere, enrich students' activities, improve the writing level of freshmen in our college, and provide a platform for freshmen's literature lovers to show themselves, the freshman essay competition held by the College of Economics and Technology of Anhui Agricultural University aims to encourage students to explore seriously, actively participate in creation and dare to innovate.
