The College of Science and Technology of Nanchang Hangkong University is an ordinary institution of higher learning that enrolls students nationwide, focuses on engineering, and combines arts, science, economics, management and law. It was approved by Jiangxi Provincial Education Department and Jiangxi Provincial Planning and Development Committee in July, 20001year. The college is located at No.69 Qingnian Avenue, Ganjiang New District, Jiangxi Province, in the middle of Changjiu Economic Belt, at the southern foot of Lushan Mountain and on the shore of Poyang Lake. It consists of mechanical materials department, information and electronics department and economics department.

In the "20 19 Top 300 International Competitiveness of Private Universities in China" issued by Jinling New International College, the College of Science and Technology of Nanchang Hangkong University ranked 195.
