Jiangxi Medical College of Nanchang University (Medical Department), located in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, formerly known as Jiangxi Public Medical College, was founded in 192 1. Over the past 90 years, Jiangxi Medical College of Nanchang University (Medical Department) has been adhering to the school spirit of "high respect and excellent medical skills" and carrying forward the school spirit of "rigor, diligence, unity and innovation", which has trained a large number of outstanding medical talents for the country, made contributions at home and abroad, and emerged a number of outstanding alumni such as Zhao, Rao Yi and Meilin.

Jiangxi Medical College of Nanchang University (Medical Department) has two campuses, Donghu Campus and Qianhu Campus, covering an area of 682,400 square meters (1024 mu). Qianhu Campus is the educational base for junior undergraduates, and Donghu Campus is the educational base for senior undergraduates and graduate students.
