Miyagidani Masamitsu was born in Pu Jun, Aichi, Japan on February 4th on 1945 (the 20th year of Showa), and graduated from the English Department of Waseda University. He once worked in a publishing house, and his works were published in Fan Zhi. At the age of 28, he quit his job and concentrated on writing. After a lapse of 18 years, Ji Zi (formerly known as Wang Jiafeng Day) was his first brilliant work after he entered the literary world. He is recognized as a "master of China's historical novels" with the momentum of "national writer" in Japanese literary circles.

Most of Miyagidani Masamitsu's historical novels are set in ancient China (Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasties). After in-depth study and integration of Historical Records, he chose historical figures with inspiring personality traits as the hero of the novel. He is good at reappearing historical scenes, thoroughly remoulding the ancients, and his writing style is exquisite and beautiful, full of visual movement, which is his writing characteristics.

1990 won the Japanese 10 Jiro literature prize for his novel Yi Yin written by a boat in the sky. 199 1 won the Japanese Naoki Award for Ji Xia Chunqiu 105. Zhong Er in 1993 was awarded the 44th Japanese Art Choice Award by the Minister of Education. 1996 won the 49th Sino-Japanese Cultural Award in Japan and the 3rd Ryotaro Shiba Prize in Japan in 2000.

Novels written in recent years began to be set in Japanese history. The Annals of Literature and Art in the Spring and Autumn Period are serialized in the Annals of the Three Kingdoms. The List of Famous Officials in Chu and Han Dynasties in Reading Data Record is serialized.
