Qingdao University of Science and Technology is an ordinary university in Shandong Province, located in Qingdao, a coastal open city known as "Oriental Switzerland". The school's predecessor was Shenyang Light Industry Higher Vocational School, which was founded in September 1950. In June, he moved to Qingdao, 1958, and established Shandong Institute of Chemical Technology. In June, it was renamed Qingdao Institute of Chemical Technology, 438+0984, and in March, 2002, it was renamed Qingdao University of Science and Technology with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
