A college student's feelings about undergraduate and junior college employment.

I was admitted to a public vocational college in 2007 to study international economy and trade, and 10 passed my own province. Select outstanding higher vocational graduates to study in undergraduate colleges? This program was admitted to a provincial key undergraduate college. Five years of college time, two different colleges before and after, it is this experience that makes me have a different understanding of this college and junior college. The following is my feeling along the way. I don't know if you agree.

1, school is more important than education.

Every campus recruitment season, if you pay attention to the recruitment brochures of those units, you will find that academic qualifications are becoming less and less important. What matters is which school you come from. Private independent colleges, ordinary public colleges and key colleges are all undergraduates, and the graduates of these colleges are all undergraduates, but the difference is quite big. For a typical example, when the four major state-owned commercial banks recruit, they only recruit the first batch of undergraduates. It is not that the resumes of those students will be automatically blocked by the system, and you will not have the opportunity to write a written test. You may be as good as those classmates who all look the same, but people don't believe you.

There are also excellent students in the junior college.

Many people have drawn a clear line between junior college and undergraduate course, but I think there is basically no difference between undergraduates and junior college students in some private independent colleges. When I entered the college entrance examination, I posted the undergraduate admission score. It can be said that one is an undergraduate and one is a junior college. Such schools have no resources and history, and the teaching quality may not be as good as that of some junior colleges. Just like this, we can see that many junior college students can pass Band 6, but some undergraduates can't. However, from a statistical point of view, the English level of English majors in Beijing Foreign Studies University is generally better than that of English majors in junior colleges.

The height of the school determines the height of the students.

Most of the students after the college entrance examination actually have little difference. Tsinghua and Peking University all have talents, but not everyone has them. In one case, two students, after the college entrance examination, one went to a higher vocational school and the other went to Tsinghua. Four years later, the gap between these two people may be huge. The reason for this gap is not because one is an undergraduate and the other is a junior college, but because of the school behind the academic qualifications. For students in Tsinghua, he has too many opportunities and resources, and too many people in the society are willing to give him opportunities. Campus job fairs are held every year, and famous enterprises come in droves. It is painstaking to recruit excellent students from Tsinghua. In higher vocational colleges, there are many people during the campus recruitment season. A bad job in the eyes of Tsinghua students may be enough to show off in the eyes of a higher vocational student. When students in higher vocational colleges shed tears because they passed CET-6, students of the same age in key colleges may do well in IELTS and TOEFL and go to the United States or Europe. When vocational college students are happy that they have joined the guitar club and learned to play the guitar, peers from key universities have joined a worldwide community organization and told their latest achievements in fluent English. Why is there such a phenomenon and such a completely different university campus life? Because the height of the school determines your height. Excellent students in universities are big fish in a small pond. You want to be longer, but the pond is too small. Excellent students are small fish in the big pond of key universities. You want to plant a pond to give you unlimited space.

4. Mentality is very important.

College students feel confused in life and lose the courage to struggle. I don't think it's necessary. For undergraduates in key universities, there are many opportunities. They may find a good job and live a comfortable life as soon as they graduate. You may have to struggle for a few more years, and after a few years, you can live the same life as them. Toughness and suffering are never good things. Don't compare the horses of junior colleges with those of key colleges, but they are not good.

5. Matthew effect of China.

Rich and powerful families, children will go to key middle schools and universities in the future, and there will be many opportunities after graduation. Children in rural areas can't enjoy a good education, and they are admitted to second-and third-rate schools. It is still so difficult to find a job after graduation.
