Journal of Liaoning University of Technology was originally the journal of Jinzhou Institute of Technology and later renamed as 1992. It is divided into two periodicals: Journal of Liaoning University of Technology (Natural Edition) and Journal of Liaoning University of Technology (Social Science Edition). Its predecessor was Journal of Jinzhou Institute of Technology, which was founded in August 1982. 1June 992 19, Jinzhou institute of technology was renamed Liaoning university of technology with the approval of the state education commission. Journal of Jinzhou Institute of Technology, as a window of external communication, was renamed as Journal of Liaoning University of Technology from the third issue 1992.
