1On May 27th, 994, Shanghai University for Science and Technology, Shanghai University and Shanghai Institute of Science and Technology merged to form a new Shanghai University. In April of 20001year, Jiading East Campus of Shanghai University was transformed into Shanghai Vocational College of Science and Technology. In September 2004, Shanghai University Law School was transformed into Shanghai University of Political Science and Law. 2013101On October 25th, the Graduate School of Shanghai University was inaugurated.
