The results of a special survey on college students' smoking show that the main reasons for college students' smoking are influenced by social environment, family and personal factors. College students like to pursue fashion and trends more than ordinary people. College students smoke partly because they follow the trend blindly.
The exaggeration of family and the imperfection of parents' education for their children are another reason for teenagers to smoke. The survey found that many children were influenced by family smoking since childhood. Among the 62 college students surveyed, 38 have fathers who smoke, accounting for 69.4%.

Smoke is a carcinogen. In other words, it can produce cancer in the tissues it contacts. Therefore, cancer may occur in any part of smokers' respiratory tract.

Nicotine can make the heart beat faster and blood pressure rise. Tobacco smoke may be due to carbon monoxide, which seems to promote the accumulation of atherosclerosis, which is one of the causes of many heart diseases. Heavy smokers are more likely to die of heart attacks than non-smokers.
