Zheng Qiang is the new president of Taiyuan University of Technology.

Professor Zheng Qiang is no stranger to us. Academically, he is distinguished professor, winner of Changjiang Scholar Award Program of the Ministry of Education, winner of National Youth Science Fund, national candidate of "One Hundred Million Talents Project in the New Century", and director of Key Laboratory of Polymer Synthesis and Functional Synthesis of the Ministry of Education. He has made great achievements in the professional field.

According to the introduction of official website of Zhejiang University in March 2020, Zheng Qiang's main research directions are: polymer rheology, structure and properties of multicomponent polymer materials, polymer composites and functional polymer materials. A series of achievements have been made in the rheological study of multiphase/multicomponent complex polymer filling system.
