Malaysian: University of Malaysia Sabah/English: University of Malaysia Sabah/(UMS/ SADA for short) enjoys the reputation of "the most beautiful university in Southeast Asia". It was founded in/kloc-0 on June 24th, 994, and is the ninth national university in Malaysia. The University of Sabah in Malaysia strives to become an outstanding and prestigious institution of higher learning at home and abroad. It is the ninth public university in Malaysia. Compared with other brother universities, its history is not very long. However, at the first graduation ceremony held in September, 1999, Sabah University proudly awarded degrees to two groups of graduates. Since the establishment of the school, Dean TYT· Dun Sakaran Dandai has awarded bachelor's degrees to 640 students. It is worth mentioning that two students were awarded doctor of philosophy degrees and six students received master's degrees.
