Taiwan Jiaotong University was founded in 1958, and was formed by some former national chiao tung university personnel who went to Taiwan Province Province with the Kuomintang. There are three colleges of science and engineering and management, 13 department, 1 1 institute. The school is characterized by the development of electronic information and is famous for its outstanding achievements in teaching and research of electronics and motors. The first TV set, the first computer and the first robot in Taiwan Province Province were successfully developed by this school.
