East China University of Science and Technology Fengxian Campus is located on the north side of the Gulf Tourism Resort in Fengxian District, Shanghai, and on the west side of Shanghai Normal University Fengxian Campus.
East China University of Science and Technology, formerly known as East China Institute of Chemical Technology, can be traced back to Nanyang College and Aurora College more than 100 years ago. It was the first new China which was merged from the chemistry departments of Jiaotong University (Shanghai), Aurora University (Shanghai), Datong University (Shanghai), Soochow University (Suzhou) and Jiangnan University (Wuxi) in 0/952, so it is famous for its chemical characteristics.
