Zhenghong Chen, a native of Haining, Zhejiang, 1962 was born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. 1985 graduated from the Chinese Department of Fudan University, and later obtained a master's degree and a doctor's degree from Fudan University. At present, he is a professor at the Institute of Ancient Books Arrangement of Fudan University, a doctoral supervisor of classical philology in China, a member of the National Committee of Experts on Ancient Books Protection, and a member of the French Society of Asia. Mainly engaged in edition bibliography, literature philology, art literature and art history teaching and research. He is the author of Chronicle of Shen Zhou, Intensive Reading of Historical Records, Preliminary Exploration of Chinese Textbooks in East Asia, and co-edited Overview of Printing Appraisal of Ancient Books, Integration of Vietnamese Chinese Literature and Integration of Chinese Literature in Ryukyu Kingdom.
