Dongshan Campus of Shanxi University has seven departments: Power Engineering Department, Power Engineering Department, Electronic Information Engineering Department, Engineering Management Department, Civil Engineering Department, Automation Department and Software College.

Dongshan Campus of Shanxi University is newly built to meet the needs of running a school in the new era, covering a large area. At present, the first phase of construction has been completed and several colleges have been relocated. The newly-built facilities are first-class, and the accommodation conditions are much better than those of the pier campus. Except for the traffic, it is not as convenient as the pier campus, and everything else is good.

This year, the Dadongguan campus has basically moved in, and science and engineering students may all be in Dongshan campus in the future. With the second and third phases of construction, the scale of the school will be further expanded and the strength of running a school will be significantly improved.

Dongshan new campus has a planned total construction area of 796,900 square meters, and the first phase of construction is 439,600 square meters. 65,438+03 single building and 6 annex buildings were completed in August 2026, and 5438+0 passed the acceptance inspection. On August 28th, 20021year, Dongshan Campus officially opened. School of Politics and Public Administration, School of Law, school of economics and management, School of Life Sciences, School of Environment and Resources and related discipline-level research units have officially moved into the new campus.

Shanxi University is an institution located in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province.
