At present, there are 8 first-class doctoral programs, 25 first-class master programs, 2 1 professional master programs and 5 postdoctoral mobile stations. There are 4 1 national and provincial key disciplines and 17 peak plateau disciplines in Fujian province. Engineering discipline ranks in the top 5‰ of ESI in the world, while chemistry, material science and computer science rank in the top 1% of ESI.
The scientific research achievements completed under the auspices of the school won the National Science and Technology Progress Award and other awards, and related academic papers were published in journals such as Nature and China Social Sciences. For four consecutive years, it has entered the list of the top 100 natural indexes in China. Two professors were selected into the list of "highly cited scientists" in the world.
