The School of Economics and Management of Zhaoqing University was established in 1996, which was developed from the former Department of Finance and Economics of Xijiang University. The School of Economics and Management has three teaching departments, namely, the Department of Business Administration, the Department of Economics and the Department of Accounting, as well as the practical teaching department and the experimental teaching center of economic management.

The college has a strong faculty, with 77 employees, including 7 professors, 20 associate professors, 38 doctors and 2 doctors. Among the teachers, there are 9 high-level talents in the school (including academic leaders 1 person, excellent teaching team leaders 1 person, 4 academic leaders and 3 outstanding teaching backbones) and 2 school-level teaching masters.

The college has six undergraduate majors: marketing, accounting, human resource management, international economy and trade, investment and e-commerce, with more than 600 full-time undergraduates/kloc-0.
