As of June/0/3, 2022, the school has three campuses, namely University West Road (East Campus, South Campus and North Campus), Huayan North Road and Long Ze Road, with an area of/0/049 mu and a construction area of 680,000 square meters. The school has 19 teaching units, offering 5/kloc-0 undergraduate majors and 2 cooperative undergraduate majors.

Three majors were identified as the key development disciplines of colleges and universities in Hebei Province, 13 provincial-level first-class professional construction site, and six provincial-level characteristic majors; The total number of teaching staff is 1394.

The school was founded in 1956, formerly known as Tangshan Industrial Night University, and was established in the former Tangshan Railway Institute. 1985, Tangshan Branch of Southwest Jiaotong University was established. In 2002, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Tangshan College, Southwest Jiaotong University Tangshan Branch and Tangshan Staff and Workers College merged to form Tangshan College, which was upgraded to an ordinary university at undergraduate level.

20 14 Hebei University of Science and Technology Tangshan Branch merged. 20 15 Tangshan foreign economic and trade school merged. By 2022, Tangshan College will be ranked 47th1in China University of Soft Science in 2022 and 480th in ABC China University in 2022.
