Into the Big Four, Sichuan University looks for the country, Cai Xi looks for the head office of the People's Bank of China, and Southwest Transportation looks for the Ministry of Railways. The provincial government is particularly generous in taking care of the University of Electronic Science and Technology.

As far as students' employment is concerned, Chengdu's electronics industry and computer software industry are stronger than Xi 'an's, even ranking first in the country, not to mention local employment. Even for enterprises and institutions that come to Sichuan for recruitment, students from the Institute of Electronic Technology will not be restricted by other universities in Sichuan.
