Compensation policy for conscription tuition fees
The state compensates the tuition fees paid by college students who have been enlisted in the army during their school days, compensates students who have obtained national student loans (including campus student loans and student-origin credit student loans) during their school days, and exempts former college students who have resumed their studies after retirement from tuition fees. Prospective college students and enlisted students can enjoy preferential policies such as scholarships, grants and tuition reduction and exemption in accordance with state regulations. The state will compensate the college graduates who are enlisted in the army for the tuition fees paid during their school days. If they get a national student loan while they are at school, the compensation will be used to repay the principal of the student loan and the interest generated before they are fully repaid.
