Black soil wheat field is a national public welfare organization approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs. Co-founded by China graduates from Yale University and Harvard University, it aims to cultivate outstanding rural makers and create a sustainable impact on rural areas in China.

In 20 15, the black soil wheat field won the global finals of the OTEC Entrepreneurship Competition, the best project of the year and the best "internet plus" project award, and was selected as the "Phoenix Project" in Chaoyang District of Beijing. Vice Chairman of China People's Political Consultative Conference visited the black soil wheat field and spoke highly of it.

Half of the teams in Black Soil Wheat Field are outstanding graduates from famous universities such as Tsinghua, Peking University, Yale and Harvard, and come from the fields of finance, commerce, science and technology, and academics. The other half of the team is a rural maker, who works hard in the countryside and has rich experience in rural work. Qin Fei, the co-founder of Black Soil Wheat Field, has been rooted in the countryside as a college student village official since graduating from Yale, and was once rated as "the most beautiful village official" by CCTV.
