Chapter I General Provisions

Chapter II Admission, Registration and Student Status

Article 2 According to the national enrollment regulations, freshmen who have been formally admitted to our school should report to the school with the Tsinghua University Admission Notice and go through the admission formalities according to the relevant requirements of the school and the prescribed time limit. Those who cannot report on time for some reason should ask for leave from the school in advance. Those who fail to take leave or report within two weeks after taking leave will be disqualified.

Article 3 After new students enter the school, the school shall conduct an audit in accordance with the national enrollment regulations within three months. Those who pass the examination are allowed to register and get a student status. Those who fail to pass the re-examination will be dealt with according to the situation until they are disqualified.

Article 4 Tsinghua University Hospital (hereinafter referred to as the school hospital) is responsible for the re-examination of the entrance examination. For freshmen who suffer from diseases and are not suitable for studying in school, if they can meet the admission physical examination standards within one year after diagnosis and treatment in the school hospital, they will not register for the time being and are allowed to retain their admission qualifications for one year. Those who retain admission qualifications do not have a student status.

Those who retain their admission qualifications should go home for treatment immediately and leave school within the prescribed time limit, otherwise they will no longer retain their admission qualifications.

Those who have been cured after treatment during the period of retaining the qualification for admission can apply for admission to the school with the diagnosis certificate of the hospital at or above the county level before the freshmen enter the school in the next school year, and go through the admission procedures again after passing the examination by the school. Those who fail the re-examination or fail to go through the admission formalities within the time limit will be disqualified.

Article 5 Anyone who practices fraud or engages in malpractices for selfish ends to obtain a student status shall, once verified, revoke his student status at any time.

Sixth students should register at the school according to the time stipulated by the school before the start of the spring and autumn semester. You can't register until you pay the tuition fee according to the school regulations in the autumn semester. Those who can't report on time for some reason should ask for leave or suspend the registration formalities, otherwise they will be treated as violating the study discipline. Those who have not taken leave or taken leave without registration for more than two weeks are deemed to have given up their school status and will be treated as automatic withdrawal.

Chapter III Academic System, Years of Study and Credits

Article 7 The undergraduate education system is four years (bachelor's degree in architecture is five years), and the flexible learning period is implemented according to the credit system management mechanism. The longest period of study for undergraduates in school is the academic system of this major plus two years. Those who have exceeded the maximum length of study will not be enrolled.

Article 8 Undergraduates who meet the requirements for early graduation may graduate early; Those who fail to meet the graduation requirements within the normal academic system may apply for an extension of their study years. Those who apply for early graduation or extension of study years should submit a written application before the end of March of the normal graduation year, which will be reviewed by the department and reported to the Academic Affairs Office for approval.

Ninth cumulative credits to meet the requirements of professional training program courses and total credits, is a necessary condition for students to obtain graduation qualifications. The minimum total credits of the four-year undergraduate training program are generally 170 credits, and the five-year architecture major is 190 credits.

Article 10 The credits included in each semester's student status examination and graduation qualification examination refer to the course credits specified in the students' professional training plan (see Chapter 8 of these Provisions for details on student status examination and treatment).

Eleventh according to the inter-school agreement to study the course credits, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the school after the audit, you can replace the corresponding course credits in the professional training plan.

The recognition of minor credits and SRT credits shall be implemented in accordance with the relevant regulations of the school.

Chapter IV Study Discipline

Twelfth students should participate in various activities arranged by the school education and teaching plan on time, study hard and complete the prescribed studies.

Thirteenth students should consciously abide by classroom discipline, and must not be late or leave early.

Fourteenth students can not participate in the activities stipulated in the education and teaching plan on time, they should ask for leave in advance and get approval. Those who are absent without approval should be criticized and educated. If the circumstances are serious, disciplinary action shall be taken according to the Regulations of Tsinghua University Municipality on the Administration of Student Punishment.

Fifteenth students should apply for leave in writing. Leave within three days shall be examined and approved by the head of the teaching department of the department, and more than three days shall be examined and approved by the competent dean (department head). Personal leave shall generally not exceed two weeks. When applying for sick leave, you should attach the school hospital certificate.

Students should go through the formalities of canceling their leave in time when their leave expires. Those who cannot return to school after the expiration of the leave period should go through the formalities of renewing their leave according to the above-mentioned leave provisions, otherwise they will be treated as violating the study discipline.

Those who leave school for more than two weeks and fail to go through the leave formalities or leave is not approved will be treated as automatic withdrawal and their school status will be cancelled.

Sixteenth students who leave the country for some reason during their studies should return to school as scheduled and report to the competent teaching department of the department. Those who fail to do this will be regarded as violating the study discipline. Those who fail to report back to the school for more than two weeks without approval will be treated as automatic withdrawal and their school status will be cancelled.

Seventeenth students should be honest and trustworthy, abide by academic norms, abide by academic ethics, and abide by the relevant provisions on intellectual property protection. Do not copy homework (papers, reports); Do not fabricate or tamper with experimental data; Don't copy other people's research results. Directly quoting other people's viewpoints, research results or excerpts from other people's works, the source shall be indicated; The written materials directly or indirectly quoted shall indicate the author, title and page number.

Eighteenth students should abide by the examination discipline, and it is forbidden to violate discipline or cheat in the examination. Those who violate the examination discipline or cheat in the examination shall be given corresponding disciplinary sanctions according to the Regulations of Tsinghua University Municipality on the Administration of Students' Disciplinary Actions.

Chapter V Curriculum Evaluation and Achievement Record

Nineteenth students should choose courses in accordance with the regulations of the school, and participate in the study and assessment of the selected courses and practical teaching links (hereinafter referred to as courses). Those who fail to go through the formal withdrawal formalities within the specified time after the course selection and do not participate in the course study or assessment will be scored zero or failed.

Whether the courses selected by students are qualified or not will be recorded on the report card.

Twentieth assessment is divided into examination and assessment. The exam is graded on a 100-point scale, with a score of 60 or above (Tsinghua University English Level 1 will be determined separately), and the course credits will be obtained. Those who get "excellent", "pass" or "fail", "excellent" or "pass" will get course credits.

The assessment methods, performance evaluation methods, and the ratio of usual grades to final grades shall be determined by teachers themselves. The assessment methods include: closed-book examination, open-book examination, written examination and oral examination. The usual grades include: mid-term exams, tests, homework, papers, etc. And attendance.

Twenty-first courses with experiments or homework, students should complete the course experiments on time (including experimental reports, the same below) and homework before taking part in the course assessment. Those who fail to complete the experiment before the exam or hand in all the operators within the specified time limit will be disqualified, and the score of this course will be zero or fail.

Plagiarism is regarded as unpaid homework.

Twenty-second students who have serious violations of discipline or cheating in the exam will have invalid scores in this course, and will be counted as zero or failing in the calculation of credit scores.

Twenty-third the examination results of each course are recorded only once in the student report card.

Twenty-fourth students to apply for self-study courses, according to the following provisions:

(a) the average credit is not less than 85 points, with the consent of the instructors and teachers, and approved by the person in charge of the teaching department of the student's department.

(2) When there is a local conflict in the class time of the selected courses, students can apply for self-study of the time conflict part of one of the courses without attending lectures after obtaining the consent of the tutor and the teacher.

(3) Anyone who has been approved to teach himself a course or part of a course should finish the experiment and homework on time before taking the exam. Those who pass the exam will get credit for this course.

(four) political theory courses, physical education class, experimental courses, practical courses, military training, curriculum design, comprehensive thesis training shall not apply for self-study.

Article 25 Those who fail in the course examination shall apply for re-reading:

(1) Students should go through the resumption procedures of the course according to relevant regulations.

(2) The re-learning results of the course are recorded according to the latest results, and the students' report cards are marked with "weight 1" and "weight 2" according to the number of studies.

(3) Every assessment result of the same course is included in the average credit calculation.

(4) There is no limit to the number of re-learning within the prescribed learning period. Students are not allowed to re-learn qualified courses (except Tsinghua University English Level 1).

Twenty-sixth schools allow students to apply for an extension of the examination under special circumstances:

(1) When students are unable to take the course examination due to illness, they should submit a written application for postponing the examination to the teaching department of their department before the examination, and submit relevant certificates from the hospital. The application for postponing the exam can only take effect after it is approved.

(2) Deferred examinations are generally not approved for reasons.

Twenty-seventh in the process of re-learning and relaxing the exam, teaching and assessment are not arranged separately. Students should go through the course selection procedures according to the relevant regulations, and take part in the study and assessment of this course in the next semester.

Students should take the initiative to consult the competent teaching department and the school registration center about matters related to resuming or postponing the exam, and go to the registration center to go through the formalities of resuming or postponing the exam within the specified time as required.

Twenty-eighth schools will take the average credit score as a comprehensive evaluation index for students' course learning.

Calculation method of average credit grade point: the credit grade point of a course is multiplied by the assessment score of the course (the course with a full score of 100%), which is the credit grade point of the course. The average credit of students is divided by the total credit of courses taken by students in the same period.

Chapter VI Suspension, Suspension and Resumption of School

Twenty-ninth students can complete their studies by stages. Those who need to drop out of school or can't study normally for various reasons may apply for dropping out of school or retaining their school status.

Thirtieth students should drop out of school in any of the following circumstances:

(1) Having been diagnosed by the school hospital and suspended from school for more than six weeks due to illness.

(2) Sick leave and truancy in a semester have accumulated over one third of the total class hours in that semester.

(three) for other special reasons, the department or school considers it necessary to suspend school.

Thirty-first students generally apply for suspension, with the consent of the department and the issuance of suspension certificate, and report to the Academic Affairs Office for the record before they can suspend their studies. If a department or school considers it necessary to suspend a scholar, the department to which the student belongs will issue a notice of suspension.

Thirty-second suspension time is generally one semester. Suspension time is not included in the number of years of study in school, but the cumulative period shall not exceed two years. If a scholar is suspended during the semester, the semester will be counted as suspension. Two weeks after the start of the semester, scholars will stop studying, and the fees paid this semester will not be refunded. The courses that have been assessed are valid, and the courses that have been completed but not assessed can be suspended and withdrawn.

During the period of suspension, the school retains its student status.

Thirty-third students who drop out of school should go through the formalities of dropping out of school within the prescribed time limit. During the period of suspension, students do not enjoy the treatment of students at school. The medical expenses of students during their suspension from school shall be handled according to the regulations of the school.

Thirty-fourth students need to suspend their studies for some special reasons, but they do not meet the conditions for suspension. Upon their own application and the approval of the school, they can retain their school status and suspend their studies. The suspension period is generally one academic year. Suspension time is not included in the number of years of study in school, but the cumulative period shall not exceed two years.

Students do not enjoy the treatment of in-school students and out-of-school students during their suspension from school.

Suspension and cumulative suspension time shall not exceed two years.

Students who apply to join the China People's Liberation Army (including the Chinese People's Armed Police Force) can retain their school status until one year after retirement.

Thirty-fifth scholars who have dropped out of school may apply to the school to participate in the course study, and the examination results will be valid when they resume school.

Thirty-sixth suspension or suspension of scholars to resume their studies, should be one month before the expiration of the written application to the department, and in accordance with the following provisions:

(a) when applying for resumption of school due to illness, a diagnosis certificate issued by a hospital at or above the county level shall be attached. Those who pass the re-examination in the school hospital shall go through the formalities of resuming their studies after being approved by the department and report to the Academic Affairs Office for the record. Those who forge the diagnosis certificate or fail the second interview shall not be allowed to return to school.

(2) If a scholar or scholar is suspended for other reasons, he/she can go through the formalities of resuming his/her studies only after he/she provides the necessary certificates and is audited by his/her department and reported to the Academic Affairs Office for approval.

(three) re scholars, according to their elective courses to the corresponding grade of the original major.

Chapter VII Transfer from Department to School

Thirty-seventh non-directional undergraduate freshmen or sophomores can apply for changing majors according to the relevant regulations of the school (hereinafter referred to as changing majors).

Thirty-eighth students transfer once every academic year, arranged by the school in the spring semester of each academic year.

Article 39 The scores of courses taken by students before transferring to another department shall be truthfully recorded on the report card.

Fortieth, the courses taken by the students before the transfer should be made clear, and the students who transfer to other departments should meet the requirements of the professional training plan before they can obtain graduation qualifications. If the length of study in school is extended due to transfer, the formalities shall be handled in accordance with the relevant provisions on extending the length of study.

Forty-first departments to major, after completing the formalities in the department, reported to the Academic Affairs Office for the record.

Forty-second students can apply for transfer to other institutions to complete their studies. Those who have been expelled from school or have gone through the formalities of dropping out of school are not allowed to transfer.

Forty-third transfer procedures should be handled before the start of the semester.

Forty-fourth students who apply for transfer or transfer to another department, without approval, should study in the original department before going through the relevant formalities, otherwise they will be treated as violating the study discipline.

Forty-fifth transfer related matters shall be handled in accordance with the "Regulations on the Administration of Students in Colleges and Universities" of the Ministry of Education.

Chapter VIII Trial Reading, Transfer and Drop-out

Forty-sixth students who fail to learn the course and have less than 12 credits (including 12 credits) in one semester (except summer semester and freshman autumn semester) will be transferred to trial reading and temporarily retain their school status for one year.

Forty-seventh during the trial period, if you get more than 30 credits in the spring and autumn semester and all credits in the summer semester, you can cancel the trial.

Forty-eighth students can only try to read once during their study at school, and the probation period is one academic year. Upon the expiration of the probation period, those who do not meet the conditions for canceling the probation period credits may apply to transfer to a junior college or drop out of school.

If the circumstances of Article 46 happen again after the trial reading is terminated or during the trial reading, it will be transferred to a junior college or dropped out of school.

Forty-ninth due to physical or other reasons can not adhere to the normal study, you can apply for transfer to a junior college.

College graduates should get 100 credits.

Fiftieth in any of the following circumstances, be expelled from school:

(a) during the study period, the unqualified courses (except those who have replied) have reached 20 credits (including 20 credits).

(two) the trial reading does not meet the conditions for termination, and does not meet the conditions for transferring to a specialized subject.

(3) Undergraduates have transferred to junior college, and they have not obtained the qualification of graduation from junior college within four academic years (excluding suspension from school, suspension from school).

(4) Failing to complete his studies within the prescribed study period for whatever reason.

(five) diagnosed by the hospital designated by the school, suffering from illness or accidental disability can not continue to study at school.

(6) Failing to apply for resumption of schooling or failing to pass the re-examination after the expiration of suspension or retention of school status.

(seven) did not leave school for two consecutive weeks and did not participate in the teaching activities stipulated by the school.

(8) failing to register within the time limit prescribed by the school without justifiable reasons.

(9) I apply for withdrawal.

Article 51 For students who have dropped out of school, the school will issue a decision to drop out of school and send it to them, and report it to the Beijing Municipal Education Commission for the record. If it cannot be delivered to me due to special circumstances, an announcement will be made in the school. It shall be deemed to have been delivered 10 days from the date of announcement.

Fifty-second students who have objections to the handling of dropping out of school may submit a written complaint to the school student appeal committee, and the complaint procedure shall be handled with reference to the relevant provisions of the Regulations on the Punishment of Students in Tsinghua University.

Article 53 Matters related to students' suspension from school shall be handled in accordance with the following provisions:

(a) students who have dropped out of school must go through the formalities of dropping out of school according to the time stipulated by the school, and their files and accounts should be returned to the domicile.

(2) Students who drop out of school will be issued with a certificate of suspension after completing the formalities of suspension on schedule, and those who have completed one academic year will be issued with an associate degree certificate. Those who fail to go through the formalities for two weeks beyond the prescribed time limit without reason will be revoked and no certificates will be issued.

(3) If a scholar drops out of school in the autumn semester, the school will refund the tuition fees and related expenses paid in the next semester; Those who drop out of school in the spring semester will not be refunded.

(four) students who have been cancelled or dropped out of school are not allowed to resume school.

Chapter IX Graduation and Degree

Fifty-fourth students who have completed the contents stipulated in the education plan and training plan within the learning period stipulated by the school and met the requirements of undergraduate graduation in moral, intellectual and physical aspects are allowed to graduate and issue undergraduate graduation certificates.

At the same time, for those who meet the minor requirements, a minor certificate will be issued.

Article 55 A person who meets the following conditions may apply for the award of a bachelor's degree:

(a) to obtain the qualification of undergraduate graduation.

(two) in accordance with the relevant provisions of the state and the school awarded bachelor's degree.

Article 56 Under any of the following circumstances, the case shall be closed and a completion certificate shall be issued:

(a) to complete the courses and practical links specified in the professional training plan within the prescribed learning period, but fail to meet the graduation requirements of this major because of the unqualified examination of individual courses or practical links.

(two) to meet the requirements of the professional training plan, but the punishment has not been lifted.

Fifty-seventh students are allowed to participate in unqualified courses as observers after graduation during the longest study period. Those who pass the course and meet the graduation conditions are allowed to renew their graduation certificates with their graduation certificates. Students who have completed their studies due to probation are allowed to renew their diplomas with their diplomas after the probation is terminated. Those who meet the conditions for granting a bachelor's degree shall be awarded a bachelor's degree.

Fifty-eighth undergraduate students who transfer to a junior college and meet the training requirements of the junior college within the prescribed study period shall be issued with a junior college graduation certificate.

Fifty-ninth minor subjects, because the minor subjects have not been completed, may not extend the length of study in school. After graduation, you can apply for completing the remaining courses (within the longest study period), and those who pass the minor subject will be awarded a minor certificate.

Article 60 No academic certificate or degree certificate shall be issued to those who enter the school in violation of the national enrollment regulations. The academic certificates and degree certificates that have been issued shall be recovered by the school and reported to the education administrative department to declare the certificates invalid.

Chapter X Supplementary Provisions

Article 61 The above, below and within mentioned in these Provisions all include this number.

Article 62 These Provisions are revised according to the Regulations on the Management of Undergraduate Student Status in Tsinghua University (revised in July 2003), and shall be implemented as of grade 2005. The management of student status of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan students and international students shall be implemented with reference to these regulations.

Article 63 The school authorizes the Academic Affairs Office to formulate specific implementation measures according to the basic principles and main requirements of these Provisions. The Academy of Fine Arts shall formulate detailed rules for implementation with reference to these regulations.

Article 64 The Academic Affairs Office shall be responsible for the interpretation of these Provisions.
