Global Innovation Exchange is a dual-degree master's program jointly organized by Tsinghua University and Washington University. Recruit about 50 people every year. Students are generally divided into two types.

Students who only apply for UW MSTI have a master of science in science and technology information. The duration of the project is 1.5 years, and all courses are completed in UW.

At the same time, students who apply for UW MSTI and MEDSIT in Tsinghua will have a master's degree in data science and information technology engineering from Tsinghua, which belongs to the category of computers. Then, after UW has completed its one-and-a-half-year course, it will return to Tsinghua to complete another year's master's program in Tsinghua.
