The Medical College of Zhengzhou University was founded in 1928, which initiated the higher education in the Central Plains. 1952 was established independently and merged into Zhengzhou university in 2000. In the fourth round of discipline evaluation, the school's clinical medicine was rated as Class B. Although it is not outstanding among similar universities in China, it was successfully selected as a "double-first-class" construction discipline, and clinical medicine entered the top 65,433 in ESI global rankings.
