In recent years, the number of contributions to social science journals of Zhejiang University has increased at the rate of 1000 articles per year for three consecutive years, with the highest number of contributions reaching more than 6,900, with a rejection rate of nearly 98%. 2008 marks the anniversary of peer-to-peer anonymous peer review system 10 for social science journals of Zhejiang University, and also the anniversary of the merger of four universities of Zhejiang University to form a new Journal of Zhejiang University (Humanities and Social Sciences Edition) 10. In order to better sum up the experience and review the existing problems, the Journal of Social Sciences of Zhejiang University did not hold any celebration activities, but sent more than 100 letters to famous scholars at home and abroad, inviting experts and scholars to put forward their opinions and suggestions on the quality and level of the journal. The consultation letter received a good response in the academic circles, and received more than one feedback from home and abroad within half a month 100; Scholars put forward good suggestions on the development of social science journals of Zhejiang University, and also spoke highly of the quality and editing level of social science journals of Zhejiang University. The special "Celebration and Publication" activity has aroused widespread concern in academic circles and the media. In 2009, China press and publication and other media reported one after another: Journal of Zhejiang University invited more than 100 doctoral supervisors to evaluate the quality; Open the door to open journals and accept suggestions; The social science edition of this journal has received 100 quality comments from many famous scholars at home and abroad.
