1995 participated in the second national film and television performance promotion competition and performed "Butterfly Dream", but was eliminated in the preliminary contest due to the nonstandard standard of Mandarin.
1996 starred in Huang Hexiang's Nine Sisters MV.
1997 was admitted to Sichuan Normal University.
1998 graduated from the performance department of Film and Television College of Sichuan Normal University (now Sichuan Film and Television College). In the same year, he was admitted to the Performance Department of Sichuan Normal University, participated in the competition again (the 5th National Film and Television Performance Promotion Competition), and won the top ten gold medals (i.e. the champion) in film and television performance.
