1. Pingdingshan College, formerly known as Pingdingshan Normal School, was founded in 1959, approved by the Ministry of Education and sponsored by the People's Government of Henan Province.
2. Henan Institute of Urban Construction was founded in 1983. It is an undergraduate college with engineering as its major. The school has China Entrepreneurship Institute to provide students with a platform for innovation and entrepreneurship, and to cultivate students' entrepreneurial awareness and ability.
3. Pingdingshan Industrial Vocational and Technical College is sponsored by China Pingmei Shenma Group, a large state-owned enterprise. Its predecessor was Pingdingshan Coal School founded in 1956.
4. Pingdingshan Vocational College of Culture and Art was founded on 20 14. It is a full-time private general vocational college approved by the Henan Provincial People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education.
5. Pingdingshan Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1959. It is an adult public full-time ordinary college with normal education and both arts and sciences.
6. Henan Vocational College of Quality Engineering, founded in 2003, is a public vocational college focusing on training advanced applied talents in technical supervision and quality inspection.
7. Ruzhou Vocational and Technical College was established in 2020. It is a full-time public vocational college approved by the provincial government and filed by the Ministry of Education.
