City College of Xi Jiaotong University is not in Xi Jiaotong University, nor is it a college of Xi Jiaotong University. It is an independent college with three universities, and the graduation certificate will say Xi Jiaotong University City College.

City College of Xi Jiaotong University is an independent full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education in May 2004.

The College is invested and constructed by Jiaotong University Broadcom Company, which is controlled by Xi 'an Economic Development Group. Xi Jiaotong University is responsible for organizing and managing the teaching of the college, and the teachers and management cadres are mainly selected from Xi Jiaotong University.
