Introduction of Fudan University Postgraduate Scholarship System

In order to encourage the majority of graduate students to study hard and ensure that every student can study at school with peace of mind, Fudan University takes the opportunity of the reform of postgraduate training mechanism to further increase the number of schools on the basis of existing state funding.

Since 2007, we have established and implemented a new postgraduate scholarship system with postgraduate scholarships, "three assistance", national student loans and difficulties subsidies as the main contents, and provided assistance as much as possible.

Graduate students successfully completed their studies. Now briefly introduced as follows:

I. Postgraduate scholarships

Postgraduate scholarships are implemented according to the reform plan of postgraduate training mechanism, which is mainly composed of academic scholarships and special scholarships.

1. Academic Scholarship

Funded by the school, for non-directional graduate students, according to the reform plan of our school, the coverage rate of doctoral scholarships is not less than 90%, and the first prize is 10000 yuan; The coverage rate of academic scholarships for master students is not less than 70%, and the first prize is 8000 yuan. Assessed by academic year and assigned by semester.

2. Special scholarships

Founded by social organizations, enterprises or individuals in our school, there are about 30 awards each year, more than 500 places, and the total prize money is more than 2 million yuan. The bonus amount is 1000- 10000 yuan.

Second, three teaching assistants for graduate students

Refers to graduate management, teaching assistants and research assistants. The school provides about 600 assistant and assistant positions every year; Non-directional doctoral students can get no less than 5000 yuan of research funding every year.

Third, the national student loan.

The national student loan is a policy credit commercial loan which is subsidized by the state to help poor students complete their studies, and it is one of the most important channels to help poor students. Compared with other loans, the national student loans are as follows

Features 1) Simple procedures: no guarantee or mortgage; (2) Excellent conditions: the loan interest rate is the same as the same grade in the same period, and the interest of students during their study at school is subsidized by the state finance; (3) Free repayment methods and ample time;

Students begin to repay interest after graduation; Repay the principal on any day within two years after graduation, and the total repayment time is six years after graduation. After the new students register, the school will organize poor graduate students to apply once.

Please pay according to the academic year, that is, each student can only apply for a national student loan once during the school year, and the maximum loan amount per student per academic year is 6000 yuan (doctoral students) and 5600 yuan (master students).

Fourth, hardship allowance.

There are two kinds of subsidies for difficulties in our school: 1) emergency subsidy: the school establishes an "emergency fund" to help students who have direct economic relations with them or their family members become poor due to disasters and illness.

Difficulties, after my application, the school will give some subsidies as appropriate to help students tide over the difficulties; (2) Social assistance: The school accepts donations from social organizations and enthusiastic people to help students with financial difficulties.

Living in Fudan:
