From 2065438 to September 2007, the list of "Double First-class" universities was published, including 42 world-class universities (including 36 A-class universities and 6 B-class universities) and 95 first-class disciplines.

One kind is "first-class universities to build universities", which refers to some universities with strong running strength, high social recognition and many high-level disciplines. Among them, it is divided into Class A and Class B, and Class A universities are more powerful. The other category is "first-class discipline construction universities", which refers to universities with some high-level disciplines or disciplines urgently needed by the country.

For example, the former is like a top student with high comprehensive scores, while the latter is a special student with advantages in some subjects.
